Our Beginnings

Bizgro Bookkeeping was founded in 2002 by Charmaine Bazley, CPA. Prior to this, Charmaine was a highly regarded consultant and project manager at Professional Advantage in North Sydney. The first client was a friend in Gosford using QuickBooks Pro 2002. Charmaine easily adapted to QuickBooks after implementing and training Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics) at PA.

In 2003, Bizgro moved to Toowoomba. We were fortunate that two large clients came on board early on. One client used QuickBooks, and the other used MYOB.

Solid Growth

In 2004, we started building the bookkeeping team. Within two years, we had marketed and called over 10,000 businesses in Toowoomba. We soon became the premier bookkeeping firm in Toowoomba. Looking to continue our growth, we marketed within the professional photography community across Australia. As a result, we now have over 20 photography clients – possibly more than any other bookkeeping firm in Australia. Since then, we have received many referrals from accountants and clients. Now after servicing over 300 clients, our industry experience is quite broad.

The Team

Our greatest asset is our team. We have eight on the team including one CPA. As a result, we look after the team, we’re flexible and have fun whenever we can. All staff members are committed to professional service. They undergo regular training and performance reviews. Furthermore, confidentiality clauses are part of their employment agreement.
